Affordable Insurance Creates a Lasting Legacy
Geraldine Zylinsky's journey as a hospital volunteer began in 1973 with Bethesda Junior Assembly. Gerry recalls, "Even though we had a variety of different activities we could help with, working in the gift shop at the lunch counter was always my favorite. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of people from the community and work with many other auxiliary members." She adds, "When you need the hospital, it is nice knowing the people who are there. Your friends and neighbors are the ones who take care of you. It is like being with family."

Through her years of service, Gerry learned of another way she could support the hospital - a gift of life insurance. Life insurance allows her to make a significant gift to her favorite charity without taking anything away from her family.

"Just starting in my career, resources were limited. I knew from my profession as an insurance agent that such a gift would be valuable to the hospital in the long-run and affordable for me. I saw many other individuals making similar gifts, and I wanted to be able to make an impact as well. It is satisfying to know that someday my gift will help bring the latest technology to Genesis - technology that could save the life of someone I love."
